Hard Rock Theme Park!

Frank's sister, her husband, and my nephew are all visiting from Germany for two weeks. We all went to the new Hard Rock Theme park last weekend in Myrtle Beach! It was awesome! It is so new that there are still a handful of rides that are not open yet. There were no crowds at all! You could walk right up to any ride and hop on without waiting! It was great! The only bummer is that I love roller coasters and since I am still recovering from my accident I am not allowed to ride them. I hope that someday I can, but it was hard to see no line and not be able to go! Oh Well! Life goes on. I did ride on the kiddy roller coaster which was REALLY fast. I was shocked! It was Austin's first real coaster and he loved it! Check out the photo above! We also took a boat ride out on the Atlantic. It was gorgeous. We were looking for dolphins but did not find any. We did however see a ray and a loggerhead turtle! That was pretty cool! I added a photo of that trip as well! I love hanging out at the beach! It is wonderful. In fact, a little odd fact about me that surprises a lot of people is that I love sand! I mean really really love sand! The first thing I do is slather up in sunscreen and when I am sticky enough I roll in the sand and get a nice little coating! I love sand! I call it "shake'n bake" ocean style! So on that note... happy summer all!

AAHHHH!

As the end of school nears I find myself drowning in paperwork! There is so much to do that I can't even get excited for the break! But there is only 2 more days of school! I will spend this weekend working on report cards and hopefully I will feel more relaxed by Sunday evening! I really have done a great deal of work but I am feeling a little overwhelmed!

We went on a great trip to Myrtle Beach last weekend and visited the new Hard Rock theme park. I took some great pictures that I would love to share. I will have to do that as soon as I am done with my work!

Wow

The internet has really gotten out of control! I was thinking about how amazing it is that EVERYTHING has its own website! (Even my silly little thoughts!)And then I came upon a website on my hanger! That is right folks... my hanger has its own website that can be translated into 12 different languages! All I can say is this hanger must do something more than just hold my clothes... I think I will check out their website to see what else it can do! http://profileedit.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=accountSettings.confirmCancelAccount&iid=719e08c6-1524-42f9-bf31-4a0214bdfb33

Memorial Day

I would like to take a moment to thank all of our service men and women. I know that we are supposed to focus on those who gave their lives for our freedom and are no longer living; but we do not say thank you enough to those that remain. I would also like to thank their families because their sacrifices are also great and go unnoticed!
THANK YOU!

I would like to send a special thank you to the men in my family that have served in the armed forces. My brother is currently serving in the Air National currently flies), my mother's father was in the Navy and my father's father was buried in Arlington National Cemetery a year ago this April after serving in the Army! Thank you for keeping American families safe and free!

Weekend Blogger!

I seem to only have time to blog on the weekend! But, I guess that is better than never blogging!

We took Austin to the store last night and he was pushing one of the little kid carts. All of a sudden he had to go to the bathroom. I told him to park his cart at the end of the row where it would be out of the way and Papa would take him to the bathroom. He started to back up with his cart to get it in the exact spot it needed to be in. The best part.... while he was backing up he was saying "beep, beep, beep" just like those big trucks he loves so much! It never ceases to amaze me how much they are learning and we don't even realize they are paying attention to it!
